«TODO ES DE COLOR»,
An exhibition of flamenco posters by Daniel Diosdado
On Tuesday, April 21st, starting at 6:00 PM, the opening reception of Daniel Diosdado’s poster exhibition will take place at the Librairie arabe de l’Olivier.
Complimentary tapas and drinks will be served for the curious, art enthusiasts, and lovers of graphic flamenco. It will be a convivial moment to discover the artist's visual universe and kick off the festivities in style.
The exhibition focuses on Diosdado's posters dedicated to the world of flamenco over the last ten years. As the creator of the posters for the latest editions of the Festival Flamenco Nómada, he has also spent a decade developing the visual identity for the Festival de Jerez, one of the most prestigious in the world. He collaborates with brands, events, and various disciplines within the flamenco scene.
Diosdado’s work is characterized by a direct, colorful, and symbolic aesthetic, where popular culture, Andalusian tradition, and graphic references from 1950s posters, printmaking, and movements such as Mid-Century Modern intertwine.
Beyond creating aesthetic images, Diosdado tells stories through each drawing, blending the everyday with the poetic in a body of work that invites the viewer to reflect.
