Flamenco Dance Workshop

The dancer Karime Amaya will offer a flamenco dance workshop on May 10. This workshop is open to three levels, allowing each participant to deepen their skills and immerse themselves in the art of flamenco.

Beginner Level
This level is designed for beginner dancers and focuses on basic technique, the compás por Tangos, and an adapted choreography.

– Foot technique
– Body development: movements and arm technique
– Compás understanding flamenco rhythm

Intermediate Level
For dancers with some experience, this level will address technique and the compás por Tientos-Tangos, with choreography suited to this level.

– Foot technique: strengthening and precision
– Body development: movements and arm technique
– Compás working on rhythms and accents

Advanced Level
This level is for experienced dancers and offers more complex work on technique, the compás por Soleá, and advanced choreography.

– Foot technique: complexity of footwork and fluidity
– Body development: mastering movements and arm technique
– Compás deepening rhythm, accents, and nuances
