“Jazz Made In Spain”
On May 9 at 9:00 PM, as part of the Festival Flamenco Nómada, in collaboration with the “One More Time” jazz club and eMa, Antonio Serrano presents “Tootsology”, a tribute to one of the greatest harmonica players in history, Toots Thielemans, through the virtuosity of one of Spain’s greatest harmonica players.
The Festival Flamenco Nómada seeks to create synergies between artists from the flamenco and jazz scenes. For this edition, we are honored to welcome Antonio Serrano, a virtuoso harmonica player and a member of the legendary Paco de Lucía Sextet for 14 years. This exceptional concert takes the audience through Thielemans’ career, from his beginnings in the 1950s to his collaborations with jazz legends, featuring a diverse repertoire that includes jazz classics, Brazilian standards, and key pieces from his extensive body of work.
Through “Tootsology”, Serrano, who embodies Thielemans’ legacy with his expertise and talent, will deliver a performance marked by his deep admiration for this jazz giant. A must-see event for jazz lovers, fusion music enthusiasts, and fans of improvisation.
