She collaborates with major artists such as Rosalía, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Anna Colom, Melodie Gimard and Chano Domínguez, bringing to each project a distinctive rhythmic depth and singular musicality. Gal Maestro stands out for her hybrid approach to the double bass, where tradition and modernity are in constant dialogue. Her performances are characterised by great expressiveness, attentive listening and a striking stage presence.

She has collaborated with prominent artists such as Pepe Habichuela, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent, and Silvia Pérez Cruz. Karen has won several prestigious awards for her choreography, including at the Barcelona Spring Film Festival and the Almería International Festival.

In partnership with José Maldonado, she created the show “Fronteras” for the Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana company, touring across the United States. Her latest show, “Golpe de Tierra,” was nominated for the Premis de la Crítica d’Arts Escèniques in the Best Solo Show category. She is currently a choreographer and performer in Juan Gómez Chicuelo’s production.

  • Mélodie Gimard is a French pianist, composer and arranger based in Barcelona. Trained at the Conservatoire of Perpignan and later at ESMUC, where she specialised in flamenco piano, her work fuses flamenco, jazz and classical music. She is the author of several acclaimed projects, including Numen (2020) and Confidencias (2024), and has signed the musical direction of creations for artists on the contemporary flamenco scene. She also develops the trio Eunoia, a project that blends flamenco, chamber music and electronics. Her artistic universe is characterised by great expressiveness, contemporary writing and a constant focus on improvisation and musical identity.

  • Flamenco Nómada - Artistas - Nasrine Rahmani

Nasrine Rahmani is a percussionist specialising in flamenco and Latin American percussion. Born in Australia to a Mauritian mother and an Iranian father, Nasrine began her studies in African, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban percussion.

After earning her degree in Music Performance from the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, she undertook the first of four trips to Cuba to further her studies in Latin percussion.

Driven by a desire to live in a musical culture more aligned with percussion, she eventually moved to Spain, where she specialised in flamenco cajón.

  • Anna Colom was born in Barcelona in 1985. She is a musician, cantaora (flamenco singer), composer and arranger. She holds a degree in Flamenco Singing from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and trained at the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco in Seville.

Colom has performed widely on stages including tablaos and theatres in Barcelona, Madrid and across Andalusia. She has also toured in more than ten countries, among them the United States, China, New Zealand, Mexico, Argentina and Switzerland.

Her project Cayana explores the intersections between flamenco and diverse rhythms and folk traditions from around the world — Brazilian samba, Uruguayan candombe, Mexican fandango, Argentine zamba — offering an inventive and sensitive vision of flamenco singing.

She has collaborated with a range of artists and projects, and was a backing vocalist on Rosalía’s El Mal Querer tour.
