Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

No refunds will be given to participants who do not attend the entire workshop.

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the start of the workshop are eligible for a refund, minus an administrative fee of CHF 20. After this period, no refunds will be granted.

Participants assess their own level. Changes to a higher or lower level class are only possible if there is availability.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission and to cancel a class if the number of participants is insufficient. In such cases, payments will be refunded without any fees.

The teacher reserves the right to alter the course content.

    Karen Lugo

    Karen Lugo, a Mexican flamenco dancer and choreographer, she is renowned for her deep respect for flamenco tradition. She has collaborated with major artists like Pepe Habichuela, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent and Silvia Pérez Cruz. Karen has won several prestigious awards for her choreography, including at the Spring Film Festival in Barcelona and the International Festival of Almería.

    In collaboration with José Maldonado, she created the show “Fronteras” for the Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana company, which toured in the United States. Her latest work, “Golpe de Tierra”, was nominated for the Premis de la Crítica d’Arts Escèniques in the Best Solo Show category. She is currently a choreographer and performer in Juan Gómez Chicuelo’s production.

    Antonio Perujo

    Antonio Perujo, born in Lausanne, is a Swiss dancer and choreographer specializing in flamenco. He began his training in flamenco and classical Spanish dance at a young age before dedicating himself entirely to flamenco. He opened a Flamenco Dance Academy in Lausanne and Geneva, where he trained many dancers and created several acclaimed productions, including Minotauro, Passion Flamenca, and Sigue mi Compás.

    In 2004, he focused on founding the International Flamenco Festival of Geneva. Today, he runs his flamenco studio in Bern and teaches across Switzerland and Europe. He is the only one in Switzerland to teach all the disciplines of flamenco dance. Antonio Perujo has also created a trilogy of productions titled Negro, Rojo, and Blanco, which explore different dimensions of this art form. He is currently dedicating himself to organizing a new event, the Berner Flamenco Festival, in Bern.
