“Encuentro Flamenco”
The next 6 May at 9:00 PM at the cultural hall of Auberge des Vergers, we invite you to experience an evening where flamenco and jazz will intertwine in a dialogue full of passion and virtuosity.
This intimate event brings together internationally acclaimed artists who, through their talents, will fuse the flamenco beat with the freedom of jazz, creating an unrepeatable experience. Under the direction of maestro Jorge Pardo, the line-up will include singer Enrique Bermúdez “Piculabe”, dancer Illeana Gómez, guitarist Jesules Losada, and percussionist Guillermo García “El Guille”.
It will be a night where music and dance come together to bring life to the duende, that moment when art and emotion become one.

Technical details
Illeana Gómez, a mexican flamenco dancer born in New Mexico, Illeana Gómez is a flamenco dancer with a Master of Fine Arts degree. She trained with esteemed artists such as Juana Amaya, José Maya, and Farruquito across Spain. She has participated in prominent dance competitions and performed in prestigious theaters and festivals, including the Joyce Theatre in New York and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.
In 2010, she became the first student in the U.S. to earn a master’s degree in dance with a specialization in flamenco. She currently works in Madrid’s tablaos, performing alongside major flamenco artists.
Enrique Bermudez “Piculabe”, a flamenco singer born in Madrid, he began his musical career in the choir of the Evangelical Church. Through a recording that made waves in flamenco communities, he met Juan José Suarez “Paquete,” recorded his first track, and signed with Universal Music.
He has collaborated with renowned international artists such as Jorge Pardo and Tomatito, and his discography includes “Camino y tiempo” (2008) and “Canta y sueña” (2012). Since 2012, he has been invited by the Antonio Gades company for various performances worldwide, appearing in prestigious venues like the National Theatre of Beijing and the Roman Theatre of Verona. In 2014, guitarist Juan Carmona invited him to join his international tour.
Jesules Losada, a flamenco guitarist born in Madrid began his career at 14 at the tablao Torrebermejas. He trained under David Lamar and collaborated with flamenco greats like singer José Mercé. His professional journey includes European tours with the opera Carmen, where he worked with renowned personalities like José Carreras.
In 2015, Jesules released his first solo album “Corre Chacho”, establishing himself as both a composer and soloist. He is currently preparing his second album, where his son, who performs at all his events, plays a prominent role.
Guillermo García “El Guille”, a flamenco percussionist born in Cartagena, studied solfège and violin and later specialized in flamenco cajón at Madrid’s Centro de Danza Amor de Dios. He has performed as a percussionist at Corral de la Pacheca and collaborated with artists such as Jorge Pardo and Piculabe. García is the founder of the Pellizco del Foro group and the Tokalo and Todocajón festivals. He is currently the official percussion teacher at the Amor De Dios dance school, with over 26 years of teaching experience.
Jorge Pardo, a flutist and composer born in Madrid is a prominent musician in today’s scene, renowned for his unique fusion of jazz and flamenco. In 2013, he was named Best European Jazz Musician. Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, Pardo plays the flute and saxophone and has collaborated with legends like Paco de Lucía.
Pardo has performed at international festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and worked with celebrated artists like Chick Corea and Al Di Meola. Winner of Spain’s National Award for Contemporary Music in 2015, his albums like “El Canto de los Guerreros”, “Las Cigarras Son Quizá Sordas”, “Diez de Paco”, and “Vientos Flamencos” showcase his rich artistic journey.
